There are several other

threads that briefly mention the P0299 turbo underboost condition ... but I decided to leave them off the list since there wasn't much actual discussion (e.g., only 1 or 2 posts regarding the P0299 ODB-II code) ... or the thread was just bunch of back & forth banter (i.e., forum drama) about a Supporting Vendor product causing the P0299 ODB-II code.

NOTE: I may very well have left a legitimate "P0299 (Turbocharger Underboost Condition)" thread off the list ... If you know of such a thread, please post it here ... and I will gladly add it to the list in the OP.

Just dropped mine off at the dealer to have them work on mine for the 4th time. Sent them the link to the thread torkme posted.

They sent me home with a rental. So we will see how it goes...

Maybe add to the sticky title, "Do not post here". Some of you guys have been around a long time and thoroughly know all the nuts and bolts of the forum, but it does get a bit confusing at times.

Someone delete this old and confusing thread ..
Its the boost control solenoid.

No one needs to sift through years of confused forum members trying to figure this out.
