Read up through that thread and see if you have any questions afterwards. It's been a well known issue with the drive-by-wire system of the Dart, but we do what we can to minimize it as much as possible.

 

The more I've experienced with the pedal lag with my 2.4, the more I'm tending to believe it might be due to the TCM programming than the ECU. I'm wondering if the Madness TCM tune might help with this. I haven't been able to get the funds yet to try it myself.

 

I have a basic Dodge dart SE.

Well there's yer problem. The SE was made to get people in the showroom with $15,999 advertised pricing, not for explosive acceleration. Other than trading it in for a more powerful model, there is nothing short of an engine swap that will make it substantially quicker.

 

Honestly get the RRM lightweight pulley. It does wonders when taking off.

As far as pedal or transmission delay i cant really comment on that since my 6MT GT doesnt have those problems modded as it is.

I'd start with a CAI. Stock air boxes usually aren't real spectacular.

i second the vote for getting RRM lightweight pulley, it is a MUST HAVE mod for every single dart on the road
