The Dart has a water pump(electric) that runs for a few minutes after the car has turned off to slowly cool the turbo (my 02 Jetta had this same feature)
The BOV is integrated into the turbo so no Cool Woosh sounds here... though im sure aftermarket will supply a venting BOV to atmosphere
It's water cooled? I thought it was oil-cooled? o_O

Also the other purpose of the oil line. From howstuffworks.com

In order to handle speeds of up to 150,000 rpm, the turbine shaft has to be supported very carefully. Most bearings would explode at speeds like this, so most turbochargers use a fluid bearing. This type of bearing supports the shaft on a thin layer of oil that is constantly pumped around the shaft. This serves two purposes: It cools the shaft and some of the other turbocharger parts, and it allows the shaft to spin without much friction.

Hard to say without looking directly at it in person, but from the pic I see 2 lines in the front which I would guess as coolant lines, and the 1 on top which would be oil. There oil return line is probably underneath the turbo. I could very well have the lines mixed up on which one is which since I don't have my car yet or one in front of me, but I definitely see 3 lines running to or from the turbo so I would assume both oil and coolant.

The Caliber SRT-4 would also do this to slowly cool the turbo off. I remember a lot of the time hearing a small whining noise after turning the car off for a few minutes.

How much of a pain was it to get the door panel off? If I were to get a Dart I think I'd be upgrading the speakers myself. At least the doors and rear shelf speakers.

Did you happen to measure the size of the speakers? are they 6x8 or 6x9's? From the photo I'm guessing 6x8's but would like to know for sure. Also would like to know if rear doors are same if you took them apart.

Today i gotbored with the dart...took out the air filter ...you can hear the SWOOSH of the turbo clearly! so possibly putting a cold air intake on it but the warrantyyy and the intake tubing is small so whaat do i do

Can someone get the model number for the turbo? The model number explains it all. the generation, frame size, compressor size of the exducer, whether or not it is ball bearing, etc.

Does this car have front and rear sway bars?

Anyone know the inlet outer diameter? I measured the intake hose at 2.125...but in changes in profile. I'm planning on doing an intake, but wont have time to take the parts off till the weekend...
