There are many things that account for flow dynamics for turbos. Not just size/volume. In general, I'd say it's safe to say that bigger turbos push more volume (higher psi) but take more exhaust gasses to get them going, and therefor spool more slowly, whereas smaller turbos lose efficiency at higher pressures, but in general, take less exhaust gasses to get them to spool, more quickly (less "lag")
so steal your neigbors 2010 lancer RalliArt and strip his turbo, manifold, piping, and intercooler. then piece together your own turbo kit.
