Actually, it's not old news. The recall notice is dated October 2025 and was just released.

 

Same exact recall number V34/NHTSA 19V-293. When you google that number it says Sept 2019.

 

What was posted earlier is from September 2019. This recall is marked "(Revision 1) October 2025" so it is a different recall.

 

I actually found this recall on my ALLData subscription....I'm attaching it here and it is indeed an old Recall notice

 

Yes, there was a recall in September of 2019. However, this recall is dated October of 2025 so, again, it is not an old recall.

 

Seems odd that the Recall number is exactly the same though eh???? Maybe they're getting enough complaints that they're running it through again???

 

From my MA mechanic: "They would notice the recall number is different. Stellantis wouldn’t post this on the latest RRT list and specifically state 2013-2016 PF if it wasn’t a thing."

Give them time. This notice was just posted last weekend. I have an oil change and tire rotation coming up on the 21st so I asked my service writer if she knew about this recall. She did not so I will have to wait for the parts to arrive at my dealership so this recall can be performed.

 

@Midnight Rider, can you get the .pdf of the new version of this recall? Google and it's AI can only find the Sept. 2019 version. To post the .pdf, put it on your google Drive, select share and post the link. If there is a new part number for a revised bushing, please post that part number. In the past it was possible to order a recall part number from online Mopar sites. It's how I have been getting recalls done myself on my vehicles since I don't trust dealer mechanics.

 

I've tried posting it but it won't work. I have the PDF on my hard drive but am unable to copy it here.

 

I got my recall card for mine sitting on my desk, debating if I should even bother with it. Came in the mail a couple weeks ago.

Closing this thread. It's a less than $5 part that anyone can order and install themselves. Nothing really new except for the date. Not sure why Stellantis is doing this. It's posted twice now with the same instructions. It's up to owners if they haven't had it done.
