I need to replace the AC condenser. Does anyone know how much oil needs to be added after vacuuming out the system?
I did find the posts you are referring to. Also read about converting to r134 and it has been super helpful. My vehicle is a 15 2.4L which holds 539 grams of R123yf. If I were to put R134 would it be the same amount? Or at what pressure should I fill the system to? And one more thing. Would I use page oil specific to r1234 or R134? Apologize if this has been asked before, I've yet to find this information. You add refrigerant oil before you evacuate and charge the system with refrigerant. The type of PAG oil depends on which year and engine type. The condenser contains about 1 ounce or 30 ml. of refrigerant oil in a working system.
