Hello Dodge-dart.org!!!

I had a question for all those of you have or want to swap your headlights from either the silver bezel or the black bezel to the black or the silver bezel!

What are the part numbers that are compatible with each headlight style? I know that there are Halogen, HID xenon and i think standard bulbs that our cars can come with!

I also know that that the part numbers are the same EXCEPT for the two letters that follow the number... AE, AK... etc

So i was hoping that our part guru @AllMoparParts.com can shed some light on this so that those of us who to swap headlights dont end up buying ones that are not compatible with what we have!

Hey Bud -

this doesn't exactly answer your question, but maybe it can help. I bought these Eagle Eye black bezel replacement lights, and they fit perfectly.

Eagle Eyes CS359-B101L, CS359-B101R 13-14 FOR DODGE DART HEADLIGHT - PAIR ASSEMBLY (BLACK TRIM, HALOGEN TYPE)
they are on Amazon

Caution - the adjustment screw is a little different, so if you wanted to adjust these, you have to get at it from the wheel well.

I found these OEM replacements, perhaps this would help, also:

TYPE OEM REPLACEMENT
SYTLE FACTORY LOOK
SIDE RIGHT
MAKE DODGE
MODEL DART
YEAR 2013
EE NUMBER CS359-B001R
OE NUMBER 68081388AG
PL NUMBER CH2519143

Thats awesome! but the amazon post says pair... is it actually a pair? or is it $284 per side???

Yes - I got mine for $287 for the PAIR - shipped!! They look great, IMO.
Only issue is the adjustment, but how often to we actually have to do that, right? Only reason I have to adjust now is because I lowered Old Girl, and she sits so low I need the lights up a bit.

The pics in my build thread show them installed, FYI.

Were they on at the meet? because i dont think i even noticed a difference! but thats awesome! i defs will be going with those if the part numbers match up! the only thing im worried about is that the part number that those ones are supposed to be replacing ends in AG and i think mines ends in AK... then theres also AE and i want to know what the difference is to make sure that the headlights wont be the wrong ones when i order! Also were your the HID Xenon or the Halogen bulbs?

@Exitus04 & @yodamusic just a heads up, since this was in the AllMoparParts sub-forum, I did move this to the general "lighting" forum with the advent of the other light housing form Amazon. I'm just Benny will still see this and assist you exitus :)

Yeah - they were on at the meet, but we weren't exactly hanging out by the front of my car, LOL. I was parked all the way at the end, opposite the picnics tables. Mine were the halogen type. I have since replaced them with HID's, but the lights themselves matched to the original factory halogen jibberish, and they worked fine with both.

You would only notice a difference between those and the original, which were silver. Since I've got the Halloween colors, the silver looked like cr@p on my car. These Eagle Eyes are very close to the original, but since I only wanted to change the color to black, they worked great. I'm not sure if anyone would notice, otherwise.

The listings I found are for 2013-14 - I believe you have a '15 - so I'm not sure what the differences are - sorry. I still have one of the OEM silver ones left (it didn't sell, yet) - we could compare it to see if it's the same as yours.

Awesome! the reason i asked is cause you showed me your car and i didnt even notice that the headlights were stock! (which is good thing imo!!!) but i did talk with Benny from @AllMoparParts.com and he told me basically that as long as you match the bulb style that the headlight are swappable! The following letters in the part numbers are for model makes like 1.0, 2.0... etc...
