This is because the AERO was never programmed from the factory to work with fog lights. Not that it cannot. Just the BCM does not have the programming in it to see the ON switch for them. Do you have the fog light switch inside the car? It should be the same one you use for your headlights, but you push that IN and it turns them on. If that is not there, they might have done something aftermarket to turn them on. You said you checked if the bulbs were in there, did you check what type of bulbs they were? If they were factory fog lights added to the car, they will be H11. If they are aftermarket, they are something else I cannot remember.

No aero comes with fog lights. Not even as an option, so they definitely were added. It's possible the previous owner liked the look of fog lights, but never went the length to get them fully working. Now that falls onto you if you actually want them working. If they are the actual MOPAR fog lights, and they are wired up then all it needs is a dealer flash to tell the BCM hey, fog lights are here now. This is not free BTW, but it is a step needed for them to function like OEM. I highly doubt it's even wired up however, and I even doubt that they are MOPAR fogs. More than likely the knock offs, and the previous owner thought he bit off more than he could chew and left them.
