Hi,

I'm new in this forum, basically register for this problem that is driving me crazy.

Every time I stop by the gas station for refueling my Dodge Dart 2013 is stalling, sometimes it took like 3 times pushing the engine start button to have it working, sometimes more than that.

Let me know if you have faced this issue and if any possible fix.

Note. Warranty of this car has expired. So wanted to fix it by myself prior go to dealership.

Regards!

So you have the push button start, then try pressing the button without depressing the brake to allow the fuel system to prime before you start the car. If thats not the problem im sure someone else here has a better idea.

That's an odd problem... I've never had that issue in any sort of ground vehicle. I know the local rescue boats that we use that have the push to start will stall occasionally on initial couple minutes after a refuel but i believe they have a gravity/electronic fuel pump, when that happens we usually just shut it off and treat it like a diesel, we put it in run mode without starting the engine so the fuel pump can cycle to the right amount of fuel, when you engage the "run" mode it will turn on fuel pump and you'll hear it work without engine running. That may be corrected with a new fuel pump.

Like I said, I'm not totally sure but that's how we deal with our stall issues, I hope you can find help with my reccomendation and I'll keep an ear and eye out for you!
