2016 Dodge Dart Automatic Transmission issue

I recently bought a used 2016 dodge dart sxt 2.4l auto. it had 50k miles on it. I have noticed since I have had it that when down shifting around 25-28 MPH its not a hard shift but like a hesitation to shift. only lasts a sec or two then shifts. Dealer said everything seemed fine and couldn't find anything wrong with it. My Warranty runs out soon and wanna use it if i can. Does Anyone know if this is normal or what it could be?

Hi Eric,

I haven't had that particular problem with mine it only has 19000 miles on it. I honestly wouldn't worry about it until it stops shifting all together. I know a lot of the 13s had major problems with the trannys. I know they have tweaked a lot of the bugs with the 16s. I wanted to ask you does yours burn oil? I have the same car and engine and mine burns oil. I already have had the engine replaced once before and its still doing it.

Can you be a bit more specific? Is it downshifting weird while slowing down to a red light or is it downshifting weird when the gas pedal is pressed?

It naturally downshifts slow to engine break, is this what you're experiencing?
