I'm sure it's been answered but what kind of coolant do I need? And is it a standard 50/50 mix? Mainly just want to top mime off with water. I'm not sure because the coolant is purple and that confuses my old school mind. Any help is much appreciated.

@youngsmith53 that answers my coolant type question. But can I just add water to my system if it's a tad low? Thanks in advance man, you always got answers for me. I don't have my manual
@lmcstockdart check out the various coolant docs found in the Dart Bible here: http://www.dodge-dart.org/forum/dodge-dart-maintenance/26666-dart-bible.html. I'm sure you could just add water, but those docs should help if you do want to do full coolant maintenance.
can someone kindly post a link for the OP to download his user manual? im pretty sure i got mine online somewhere... or if there is a vendor like @AllMoparParts.com who can sell a manual? no dart owner should be without their manual in the glove box.
I would not recommend adding tap water to the cooling system. You should always used distilled water. 1 gallon is typically less than $1 and available at any grocery store.
