Back-pressure is a Myth!!!: What the NA's want it's not "back-pressure", its exhaust velocity. NA's are designed for proper flow of gas-speed may exhibit some degree of "back-pressure" as a necessary evil or result or side-effect, but "back-pressure" in and of itself is NOT a good thing. The larger the exhaust pipe is on an N/A engine the gases slow down & get all swirly, actually causing more "back-pressure". Where with the NA's we want to exit the gases as fast as possible not slow down and create the "back-pressure".

Copper Spark Plugs:
Simply put, Copper spark plugs burn cleaner and have a hotter spark with a more efficient burn. Copper's aren't going to raise your HP numbers. The spark is easier made because the copper is more conductive that the iridium... easier spark, less obtuse idle, not more HP, but a more efficient burn of the spark equaling better pedal performance.

Chapter 3 - Suspension:
The overall saying goes on a FWD car that an upgraded rear is light years ahead of both front and rear upgrades. Pretty much you are canceling out the benefits of the rear (with adding an upgraded front sway) bringing the un-needed understeer back to the car. Rule of thumb is do the rear and see if you need to do the front sway. Also, it's been floated multiple times to just drop and eliminate the front sways on FWDs cars to improve handling. Chapter 4 - Active Grille Shutters (AGS) experimentation:
The Active Grille Shutters or AGS are there for aerodynamics... but, not for "power". The AGS fins when closed direct air flow to bottom of the car for aerodynamics, but as a result they also close off the radiator, which in turn is not getting cold air, thus affecting the MPG's equaling a hotter engine. A hotter engine raises the internal temperatures thus raising the MPG's. Edmunds does a good job stating this here: Active Grille Shutters Are Latest Way To Improve Fuel Efficiency | Edmunds.comChapter 4 - Active Grille Shutters (AGS) experimentation:
Simply put: Cold Air = Less MPG, but more power / Warm Air = More MPG's, but less power.
The reason you want to open up the AGS is to let the engine breath and get air into the engine, I currently run with 6 AGS fins deleted along with the oil drain panel removed from the Aero plate. The oil panel once removed acts like a vacuum to pull air through the radiator and through the engine bay thus increasing engine cooling. Doing this I was still able to get upwards to 35 MPGs per tank in my lowly ol 2.0. Hopefully this helps ya understand what we're trying to accomplish here as it is a "practical cheap mod" to get a different effect on the engine...
