You can buy wireless blue tooth, and download app on play store. Or buy a wired type, avoid super cheap. They do not help with repairs. Check as cheap ones read codes only and erase codes. Darts store permanent codes too, the do not erase. I have a harbor freight one. It was $200-300. It does ABS, SRS, service reset,oil change, and extended oem reads. It's really nice to be able to reset all modules. Will be upgrading to a newer one that programs key, cluster, and obd . That's $1500 plus for a cheap one.

The alfaOBD android app, an android device and the OBDLinkMX+ bluetooth scanner combo does just about everything the dealer scanner does for a lot less money. Access every module, make changes in the BCM, PROXI configuration, program key fobs, as well as scan and erase codes. If you own other FCA vehicles, it works on those too. Take a look at the RAM forum thread, it may take days to read all of it:
