Hello everyone, I figured I would share my experience of sliding into a curb. I'm not going to lie; I definitely was driving too fast for conditions but that's beside the point. I took a sweeping turn at about 25 mph and slid on ice and slammed the passenger rear into a raised curb. I have learned my lesson after about a 1k repair. Luckily, I did not hit a parked car or worse and luckily, I had the tools to do this job at home and escape the costs of labor. Ended up cracking my rim and rotor, bending my spindle, wrecked my hub, and I'm not sure if I bent my lower control arm or not so I replaced it anyways. Took me about 4 hours to complete the job. If you have any questions, feel free to post them.
