So... as the title states i have a serious question. If i was to do a trade in... (probably for the 2.0t in 2015/2016) could i swap my parts...? say for example the new car (well call it the 2t) has chrome headlights and i want to put my current headlamps on my car into the 2t and put the 2t chromies into my car.. Could I do that? same thing with fascia.. I have a custom grille delete... could I take my grille off my car and swap it with the 2t grille... So basically.. Swap my current cars body parts and put them onto the new 2.0t that I'm buying and all the stuff i removed to put mine in would go back to the car that I'm trading in..... can i do this???

And, that's assuming they would still fit. Even without a major redesign, they often make small changes between model years. Many times one of the easiest things to change is the headlights or taillights...

The 2.0T will probably arive during the mid cycle refresh, which usually means redesigned front bumper, headlights, tail lights, and sometimes the rear bumper. Things that would probably (most likely) fit would be lowering springs, sway bars, strut bars, cat backs, short shifters, etc. basically things not directly related to the motor.

well here is the thing, the 2016 dart will have a front a rear fascia refresh, soooo the head lights may be way different? but im sure you could sell them to an owner of an older dart.

In my experience the dealer would rather have the more stock looking car. So they might allow you to swap your parts as long as they fit. They would rather have the stock looking car because one with your mods would appeal to a more limited number of buyers. It dosen't hurt to ask.

but guys... I meant if i traded in for an aero '14? I want a manual and a turbo... and theres some good stuff out for it now. Or i may stay with the 2.0 if someone makes a turbo kit for it. but regardless i want a manual. I meant could i trade my parts on a trade in of the same model year haha sorry
