So just recently I noticed that my right side headlamp was stuck on high, I tried banging it a few times to see if that would fix it. It didn’t. So I then checked to see if I could adjust the headlamp and the idiot that had the vehicle before me must have broken off or removed the piece you use to adjust them. So I’m kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Any input would help. Thanks in advance.

There is a motor in the headlamp housing that controls the shutter for low to high beam. The motor is not available separately. The headlamp adjusts only vertically and there is an access hole to get to the adjusting screw. I would leave that alone since I doubt you could even come close to getting it low enough. Look at car-part.com or your local self serve junkyard for a replacement headlight assembly.

You will need to remove the bumper cover to get access to the bolts that hold the headlight assembly. There is a real good video on you tube by motorcitymechanic.
