On my 15 dart GT 2.4 as I was replacing the temperature sensor on the thermostat housing my forearm pushed against the coolant recovery hose, the quick connector snapped and sprayed hot coolant all over my arm, really made me day. Anyways I'm trying to fix this but half the plastic quick connect that goes to the coolant recovery line is still on the thermostat housing, how does it come off exactly? Am I overlooking something? Does anyone have any easy fix without order the whole hose again?

You should have drained the coolant first before trying to replace the coolant temp sensor. Post a pic of the quick connect.
That fitting is very prone to snapping off. You can just cut the hose about an inch back and attach a 5/16" fuel line fitting, and your good to go for under 10 bucks.
