I recently purchased a 2013 Rallye edition dart second hand and the first thing I noticed about the car is that it desperately needed a wheel alignment. Unsurprising as the guy I bought it from decided to replace the shock absorbers himself. My mechanic told me that he can not do a rear end alignment as the car is. The bushing in the rear control arm that the camber bolt would typically pass through is completely disintegrated on one side, and not far away on the other. Furthermore, this is a bushing that can not be purchased separately, instead he needs to purchase the entire rear control arm from Dodge for around $800. I know and trust my mechanic, but is this true? Can this bushing seriously not be replaced?
