Hey guys I have a 2013 dodge dart 2.0L. when I go over bumps on the road it makes a noise like metal touching metal. But when I put on the brake when I go over a bump I don't hear it. Brought it to 2 mechanic and one serviced the brakes such as greasing the calipers but still makes the noise. The noise is only in the front end. Any ideas?

Drive on a bumpy road until you hear the rattle, then lightly apply the brakes: If the noise goes away that means the brake pads are rattling up and down in your caliper bracket. Brakes use "Anti-Rattle clips", in your case they are either worn or sized incorrectly. You can buy replacement brake hardware (Dorman Products - HW6160) or simply place something between the clips and caliper bracket to reduce the space, thin aluminum sheeting works well.
