It's not too bad the worst part is just trying to get those screws out behind the glove box. I removed mine and put in a nav tuner. I recommend having a stubby philips screw driver or a right angle skew driver adapter.

 

Got any measurements on the tuner? I'd like to know if the processor I have will fit.

The tuner is mounted to a bracket that then gets secured to a bracket behind the glove box.

The mounting plate is 9.5" wide with a depth of about 6", height is about 3.25"

 

Think the tuner is larger than that...say 11.5*7 3/8*2 1/8?

I measured my re2 that was on it's mounting plate still From when I put in the RB5

 

Damn, that means the MS8 won't fit
