My wife and I bought a 2016 Dart Rallye with the Performance Hood this weekend and love it.

My first mod was a K&N air filter. Since Mopar did a great job on induction tubing my second mod was to enhance the induction sound.
I did this by cutting off the bellows on the resonator tube and block the 2 holes where the bellows were once located and it helped too.

My question is for those who have installed the Mopar CAI filter box will it still fit if the oem intake tube is left in place?
The Mopar CAI instructions say to remove the oem tube but can the tubes be left in place?

I plan on getting the Mopar ram air duct so the hood will functional and want to get the Mopar CAI.
My goal is to retain my modified resonator tube with a Mopar CAI and Mopar hood scoop duct.

you dont need to remove it since the mopar cai fit in the oem bracket but if you have the ram air it wont do any harm taking it off
