20% tint

20% tint on all windows with 20% windshield strip... although had a buddy of mine check the tint with a tint meter and digital reading was 13.8!! Now that is a bit dark ..lol

It's reading lower because stock tint was about 92%

 

I have 5% on the back three windows and 35% on the front. The black interior makes the front windows look darker though.

 

Is 200 to much for tint? Everyones darts are looking good! does anyone know California law on tint?

 

$200 is a fair price for carbon series film.

 

How much darker does the 2% look compared to the 5% ? Or is there really no noticeable difference?

 

It's one in the same. 5% is the darkest film available, but our Darts come with 97% tint so that's the 3% difference. He just likes to say he has 2% tint, which is technically correct. I have 18% tint but it reads 15% on the cops tintmeter.

Coulda swore I saw someone say the tint from factory was 92%. Sorry for any confusions just dont want all diff numbers flyin around in my head (or the boards) incorrectly. Anyone actually know the real %?

Just got my Dart Tinted today, 5% around the back and 20% up front.....

 

25% all the way around besides windshield !

 

Just got mine done today. 30% Front (Kept It Legal) and 20% Back. Including 20% on rear windshield. Cost me $150
