Check Engine Light and Service Transmission alerts come on.
Only after driving over 10 miles or so, and the outside temp is above 40 F.
Symptoms are usually limp mode 2,4, and 6 gear. Sometimes no reverse and wont start until the engine cools down some. It always starts though after some time.
I had no problems during the winter but now that it has warmed up some I do.
It seems to me something is getting too hot, but what? I think it would be in the engine bay.
If anyone has any Idea of what could be causing this pls let me know.
I replaced the battery and I still have the same problem.
Usually the check engine light and service transmission alert goes away after the engine cools all the way down and by the next day.
I hope I can find the culprit because I really like this car.
Thanks in advance.

Have it scanned and post the codes. There are so many really bad possibilities with the DDCT.
