I know this section is for Playstation and Xbox junkies, but just wanted to reach out and see if there are any PC gamers on steam out there :)

Aye, but I forgot my ID at the moment; will have to check when I get home. Been playing FFVII Borderlands 2, Kingdoms of Amalor (sp?) Witcher, and Witcher 2, but other than that FFXIV, Defiance, and Diablo III. I don't have much on Steam. I'll probably get Battlefield 4 when it comes out.

I don't have much through Steam but my PC and XBox360 get played about equally. Steam and XBL are both guysmiley222

Most recently I've been doing a lot of Blizzard stuff on the PC. Hearthstone beta, StarCraft II: HotS, Diablo III.

So what kind of rig does everyone run?

My specs are pretty mid grade on everything but a lowish end video card:
Thermaltake MSi Commander Snow case
Rosewill 600w modular PSU
i5 3570k
ASRock Z77 Pro4-M (old case wouldn't take a full size ATX)
16GB DDR3-1600 Corsair Vengeance
120GB OCZ Vertex3 SSD
500GB WD HDD
EVGA GTX 650 ti

Running Win 8 right now but I'm hoping to get a couple more SSDs in the coming months to throw OSX and Linux into a tri-boot. Every couple of months I'm switching as it is.

Fellow PC gamer here, and I still have quite the backlog on Steam. I really need to get around to finishing Metal Gear: Rising and Strike Suit Zero. I'm currently finishing up my pacifist run on Deus Ex: HR. Here are my current specs:

MSI Pro-E LGA 1366 motherboard
i7 930 @3.8Ghz
12GB DDR3 1600
Lite-On Optical Drive
250GB Corsair SSD
GTX 480x2 with SSC BIOS flash
Corsair 1050w PSU

It's been a while since I've upgraded anything. There's only a handful of games that put most enthusiast systems through their paces. I'll definitely be upgrading once Star Citizen goes retail (still in pre-alpha development). I think I might be ok for Elite: Dangerous once the standard beta goes live.

Hahaa It's been a while since I've had much free time to play.

Mostly Borderlands 2 and Skyrim for me, but I've got a few others that I can't seem to recall atm. Steam username is same as forum name. You can find me as SylenThunder just about anywhere.

My aging PC....
PC Case: Some Generic case that came with the original system. Looks neat with the blue light, but lacks drive slots and breathing room.
Motherboard: Intel DG33BU
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Ram: 4.00GB Kinston ValueRam because it was cheap at the time.
HDD-1: 1TB Hitachi Deskstar (OS and general programs)
HDD-2: 2x466GB Seagate Barracuda drives in RAID 0 Stripe (Games)
HDD-3: 1TB Hitachi Deskstar (Downloads, storage, archive)
Cooling: Some Thermatake model I don't recall, the case also has an intake tube going straight to it.
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 overclocked
PSU: OCZ Technology 750 Watt Fatal1ty Series Modular ATX Power Supply

Really, this PC is kinda old, and half the parts in it are from a Miro system I snagged from home Depot because it was a decent value at the time. usually I build my own systems, and this one was an exception.

Hopefully, I'll be able to build this by Christmas, but it's going to run me about $1300.
PC Case: Thermaltake Commander
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth X79 Socket 2011 X79 ATX
CPU: Intel Core i7-4930K 3.4 GHz (Specs may change by the time I purchase it)
Ram: Crucial Ballistix XT 000 16GB DDR3-1866
HDD-1: Crucial M500 Series 240GB SATA 6.0Gb/s (OS and general programs)
HDD-2: 2x466GB Seagate Barracuda drives in RAID 0 Stripe (Games)
HDD-3: 2x1TB Hitachi Deskstar RAID 1(Downloads, storage, archive)
Cooling: Either the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and some extra fans in the case, or Corsair liquid cooling. Haven't decided yet.
Graphic Cards: 2xNVIDIA GeForce GTX 650TI overclocked in SLI
PSU: OCZ Technology 750 Watt Fatal1ty Series Modular ATX Power Supply

My my, this is outdated.
Still rockin the 2600k @ 4.4ghz but it now resides in an Asrock Z77 Extreme6 with some G Skill Sniper DDR3 ram at 2133 mhz, 16gbs worth.
And the 570 got replaced with a 970, then another 970, now there are two EVGA GTX 980 SC cards @ 1500 each, and one has an EVGA hybrid kit on it, and they now run an Asus ROG Swift PG278Q monitor (if you don't know, Google it).
And it all resides in a Cooler master HAF XB Evo and powered by an EVGA 1000 P2 PSU.

Been playing GTA V (with and without @BrendoGT and @Mr Bacon), Just Cause 3, and Next Car Game: Wreckfest
