Hi guys looking to see wich one is the shaft speed sensor I been trying to look even calling the dealer and they don't know about it . I replace my transmission and now this came on and gets into limp mode . If someone know wich one is I will appreciate it thanks in advance.

Whenever you see the word circuit in a code description, the problem is likely the wiring or a connector. Before buying anything, check that first. The input shaft speed sensor is not a separate part. It's part of the electronics on the valve body.

Theory of Operation

This diagnostic checks the rationality of the actual even clutch speed with four different tests. When one of these tests fail the diagnostic will be considered failing. The first diagnostic verifies that the actual even clutch speed is different from the sensor reading of 0 rpm in three different vehicle situations. The first situation is verified when the even clutch is closed and the actual gear is not the Neutral. The second situation is verified when the even clutch is closed beyond the touch point (the “touch point” is defined as the point where the clutch first touches the flywheel, but short of the full clutch engagement position). The third situation is verified when the driveline speed is above a threshold and the actual gear is an even gear (2nd, 4th, 6th). The second diagnostic verifies that the rate of change of the even clutch speed varies within a calibrated limit. The third diagnostic compares the even clutch speed signal to the engine speed and to an estimated clutch speed when the even clutch is closed, there is no gear shift in progress and the actual gear is an even gear (2nd, 4th, 6th). The fourth diagnostic compares the even clutch speed signal to an estimated clutch speed when the driveline speed is above a threshold and the actual gear is an even gear (2nd, 4th, 6th).

When Monitored and Set Conditions

When Monitored: This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

•Check 1:
◦Vehicle Conditions 1:

◾Ignition is on or the Transmission Control Module (TCM) is in power-on state.
◾Engine is not in cranking mode.
◾Engine is in run mode.
◾No gear shift in progress.
◾Clutch is closed.
◾Actual gear is not the Neutral.
◾Power supply is between 7 - 24 volts.
◾Main Micro Processor (MMP) supply diagnostics have not failed.
◾Sensor Power Supply 3 to the Even Speed Sensor has no electrical failure.
◾Driveline speed diagnostic test has not failed.
◾Engine speed wrong value diagnostic test has not failed.

◦Vehicle Conditions 2:

◾Ignition is on or the TCM is in power-on state.
◾Engine is not in cranking mode.
◾Engine is in run mode.
◾Check of touch point is active.
◾Even clutch is more closed than touch point.
◾Power supply is between 7 - 24 volts.
◾Main Micro Processor (MMP) Supply Diagnostics have not failed.
◾Sensor Power Supply 3 to the Even Speed Sensor has no electrical failure.
◾Driveline speed diagnostic test has not failed.
◾Engine speed wrong value diagnostic test has not failed.

◦Vehicle Conditions 3:

◾Ignition is on or the TCM is in power-on state.
◾Engine is not in cranking mode.
◾Drive line speed is greater then a calibrated value.
◾Actual gear is an even gear (2nd, 4th, 6th).
◾Power supply is between 7 - 24 volts.

◾Sensor Power Supply 3 to the Even Speed Sensor has no electrical failure.
◾Driveline speed diagnostic test has not failed.

•Check 2:

◦Sensor Power Supply 3 to the Even Speed Sensor has no electrical failure.

•Check 4:

◦Ignition is on or the TCM is in power-on state.
◦Engine is not in cranking mode.
◦Drive line speed is greater than a calibrated value.
◦Actual gear is an even gear (2nd, 4th, 6th).
◦Wheel Speed Left Front signal diagnostic has not failed.
◦Wheel Speed Right Front signal diagnostic has not failed.
◦Power supply is between 7 - 24 volts.
◦Main Micro Processor (MMP) Supply Diagnostics have not failed.
◦The Sensor Power Supply 3 to the Even Speed Sensor has no electrical failure.

Set Conditions:

•Check 1:

◦The even clutch speed sensor output is equal to zero.

•Check 2:

◦When the absolute value of the difference between the actual even clutch speed sensor output and the previous even clutch speed sensor output is greater than a calibrated value, this value is accumulated in an integral sum. The failure is detected if this integral sum is greater than a calibrated value within a calibrated amount of time.

•Check 3:

◦The absolute value of the difference between the even clutch speed sensor output and the engine speed via Controller Area Network (CAN) message is greater than a calibrated value and the absolute value of the difference between the even clutch speed sensor output and the even clutch speed that is estimated from driveline speed is greater than a calibrated value.

•Check 4:

◦The absolute value of the difference between the even clutch speed sensor output and the even clutch speed that is estimated from the Antilock Brake System (ABS) wheel speed CAN message is greater than a calibrated value.

Possible Causes

5 VOLT SUPPLY C CIRCUIT OPEN

EVEN SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
