Oil pressure sensor help

You really should get the Mopar oil pressure sensor and it has a 3 pin connector. Others have tried aftermarket sensors and they do not work. The oil temperature sensor has a 2 pin connector and you are probably confusing them.

I wish people would realize the Dart can have 3 possible engines and post what engine they have. User name has a 24 and it's an SXT so I assumed it's a 2.4 engine. A 1.4 engine does have a 2 pin oil pressure switch.

That is an oil temperature sensor and it has 2 pins.
If your code reader said you have a oil pressure problem, that is the wrong sensor. If you removed the oil temp sensor, the FSM says you need to replace it. On a 2.0, the oil pressure sensor is on the head and not on the block like most engines. Take off the engine cover and look on the passenger side of the engine. You almost have to feel under there to find it.

This is a pic using a mirror to see it.
