I believe you got that much oil in the bowl because the 2.0, unlike the 1.4, does not have the factory catch box on the engine. So your catch can is directly connected to the PCV valve.
If we did the same on the 1.4, I'm thinking that we would be getting about the same if not more collected in ours also. As it is, I have collected about a teaspoon in mine with close to 1500 miles on it since I installed my catch can.
makes sense, I just thought it good to post as I was told by many that a catch can would serve no use on the 2.0L and clearly it does it's job.

So...how does this hose route from the Injen CAI to the crank case vent hose?? The crank case hose is a larger ID than the supplied hose.

@clolarte, Thanks for the picture. I was looking at the wrong area. Finally got it installed this evening! !
