I bought a brand new 2014 Aero in October and I want to do an exhaust system. But its the single out system and there is no exit in the rear fascia. So I was wondering if I could unbolt the stock system, build a custom 2.5 or 3" system from the flange back. Then dump the pipe right before the rear fascia. This way I get my exhaust sound and I don't need to spend $350 on a new fascia. Thoughts?
Just spent some more time looking through some forums. The DRP race dump seems legit. Probably go with that and swap it back for stock when inspection time comes around.
You can easily cut out some holes in the factory rear wherever you want them like this guy did
