Motor Mounts...

Hi Guys, my SXT with the 2.0 has 40k on it and has a vibration at idle when in gear. I'm 99% it's the motor mounts because if I put it in neutral, the vibration goes away. Back in my Neon days I put Deyeme Mounts in my ACR and R/T, but the vibration increased significantly. I'm more into a smooth feeling at idle and not Crane 22's in a 2.4 anymore. How is the vibration on the Deyeme Mounts in the Dart? I'm torn between the Deyeme's and the Anchor Industries set on Rock Auto. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Save yourself the head ache and get geniune Mopar parts. I got some from Rock auto and had to replace them again. Cause those are made in china. I got some weird ticking noise from the rock auto. I literally tore the engine apart thinking it was a chain tensioner. Get some from Find OEM Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Parts | Mopar Wholesale Parts they got pretty good pricing cheaper than the dealer

From my experience your issue sounds like the transmission mount (I had the same symptoms 2 years ago, low or no vibration in park or neutral but when in gear the steering wheel had a good amount of vibration). I have a 2013 dart first pair of mounts went bad earlier this year around 120k swapped them myself didn't use the car very much and they went bad last month and I took it to a shop this time. It's been to the shop 3 times because the dealer mounts are trash and now they are on a 2 month back order. The car is now around 127k miles. Purchased some from Deyeme Racing because I'm not waiting for 2 months for some mounts that last less then 2 weeks, hopefully these will be better.

After you install the Deyeme's can you reply and let me know what you think of them and how bad the vibrations are?

Yes I'll let you know. The shop was able to get a hold of one more earlier this week, and my racing mount got here yesterday. So they put another OEM one on and if/when that fails I'll put the racing one on myself and I'll update them.

I ordered the Deyeme Racing Flex mounts last week, I'm hoping they come before the weekend.
Any update on the Deyeme mounts? I'm replacing all of my mounts because the passenger side mount keeps failing and I'm getting tired of throwing money at it only for it to break again.

Yeah, I've been running the FLEX mounts for almost 2 months so far. You do get some added vibrations and I'm OK with them, but it might be too much for others. I think the best of both worlds would be a FLEX Rear mount and OEM mounts on both sides. The rear is what lets it move back and forth so much to trash the other 2. Just stay away from any aftermarket mounts though.
I'm not a tuner DIY guy myself, wish i was. No facilities here at my condo. Last month I had the motor mounts replaced under my extended warranty, along with a brake line fix , from a Dodge dealership. I cant believe how smooth and quiet the car is. I don't remember it being this smooth when I bought it new in Feb 2016. One year left on my 7/100k warranty from Zurich that I bought 1 year after the car purchase. I had 3 tpms's detach and you could here them knocking around at low speed. LOL...got those replaced and wheels balanced....very smooth cruising to 85 to 90 now.
2016 GT with 73k.
