Perfect topic to wiki! I'm going to turn mine off today because I stalled the car last week and it activated and I wasn't "prepared" for the long brake hold.....
Well I know the answer to that. The same procedure will re-enable the feature. My question on this is......how to re-enable if wanted again?
Any help or answers to my question above?? ^^^Wait....can this only be done with the limited or am I a n00b?? I don't see a ESC light or physical ESC button....assistance?
I believe it's next to the hazard button.Any help or answers to my question above?? ^^^
I thought that was the traction control on/off switch but I'll look this morning.I believe it's next to the hazard button.
Yup, you're correct RyanI thought that was the traction control on/off switch but I'll look this morning.
Well I'll be damned. I'm gonna try that! I guess this is a "RTFM" Ryan...I know I know...I've just been working hard and forgot! Thanks ill try it again.Check out your owners manual. It has in there what ESC stands for. Electronic Stability Control, which would be your traction control.
You're not missing out.....The DDCT must not have it, as my car absolutely rolls back on hills.
Though, my build sheet says BNGS - Hill Start Assist
Maybe you need a bigger hill? or have you tried to activate it? I read that if you repeat these steps you can turn it back on if you decide you want it again. It's not so much that I feel I'm missing out, just wondering if there is something wrong with my car.
