Hey there, I’m new here, so I could be in the wrong place. I bought a secondhand Dart GT last September and I’ve been loving it so far. It’s the manual version, which I love.
Yesterday I bought a replacement passenger side CV axle, as mine was making noise during operation. I had to reorder the replacement part because the CV axle that AutoZone carried was too short. I learned that the axle that I needed is considered the “updated design”. I ordered one and went to put it in. Here’s the issue: the length is correct this time, but the mounting bracket is incorrect. The orientation appears to be mirrored from the OE partecause of this, the holes do not line up while trying to install the axle.
Any advice? Or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Brad

The junkyard passenger axle that I have in my storage looks like the replacement one that you have. Perhaps there were different brackets for different years. Take it back to see what they say. If they can't make it right get a refund and try a different source.
