The PDC from a 1.4 can have different fuses that the PDC for the other engines do not have. The callout for the PDC includes those fuses.

This pic I have is from a Dart with a 2.0 engine and an automatic, so for example, there are no fuses for the DDCT automatic transmission. Your manual transmission PDC may be different as well.
Perhaps that is the reason you are having problems even though your used PDC came from the same model year and trim.

I have some wiring schematics:

Not sure if this is what you need but go to this link:
Select 2013 and PF : Dart. Scroll down to PDC-FR C2 - (DASH). That is the pinout with cavity numbers and wire colors.
The pic that's missing there is the wire insertion side.

Pay attention when you first start it up. Fuses blow and parts melt when there's a short. The short that first caused the meltdown could still be in the wiring harness.

The pics were from a PDC on a 2016 2.0 with a manual transmission. Wire colors can vary from different model years and options. The Mopar connector site I linked will be closest in accuracy. If you pay for shipping both ways, I can send that PDC to you. I do want it back. Click on your avatar and scroll down to Conversations if interested.
