We had a member once who snapped a rear rotor doing a handbrake turn in a Dart. He was on pavement, though. Doing a handbrake turn with a fatty of a car and wide, grippy tires isn't going to work out the way you envision.

Also, I can't listen to the sound (at work), but I sure hope his commentary is better than his terrible handbrake turns.

Oh my god that was so painful to watch...Is that his first attempt at a eslide???

I've seen worse.
Considering that a "burnout" is no particular big-deal.
I get it that the guy's getting new tires, but given the whimpy strength of drivetrain parts these days, I wouldn't ask any newer car to do this with the brakes locked.
