I have been having issues for a while especially after rain. I'll hear a click and the trunk will open on its own. Now the button doesn't work at all. Do you have to replace the whole race track lighting piece which includes the button to fix this issues? Ty

You likely have broken wires especially if you open your trunk a lot.

Racetrack Lighting Won't Illuminate

I was having issues with my license plate light early this week. I've had it swapped over to LED for the past 2.5 years and the inline resistor I was using died. Causing the LED to flicker and give me the error on the dash. I drove the car last night and noticed the racetracks weren't lighting...

Seems my shop thinks something is wrong with my remote possibly acting up and sending a signal even when the button isn't pressed. This will happen several times when it decides to act up.
