Anyone else get this sound with a custom header? Also, if i removed the cat would it start spitting flames. I think the catalytic converters needs replacing soon...just wasnt sure if its best to just remove it. https://youtu.be/58hB8ymBugM

What header do you have? The MPX Header or a true custom? Also, do you have a stock exhaust or after market (if aftermarket, what is it)?

Sorry for the misinformation. Its an MPX header with flowmaster exhaust.

I don't see any problem sound wise with the header. Removing the cat will throw a CEL and I would be surprised that it needs to be replaced, but yes it could spit flame without the cat.

I love that sound between shifts. Is it loud while driving or only while accelerating versus stock?
