So I have a 2013 dodge the coolant goes up to 230 but it goes up and down to 220. Wanted to know if that’s normal for it to go up and down. Also when stopped it sounds like it’s accelerating and my foot isn’t on it

Sounds like the fan turning on, to cool the engine. It’s normally just on long enough to drop to operating temp.
