Hello I recently took my 2014 Dodge Dart Rallye in for some recall repairs and got it back with the coolant bottle inlet hose broken off.I believe I found the correct replacement (part number 55111494AD)

I have yet to find any resources online as to how to uninstall the broken part and reinstall the replacement, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Pictures are attached of the part in question, it looks like there was a nipple there that broke off and I don’t know how to get that piece off.

It's the quick connect to the thermostat housing that has broken. There should be a latch that you pull out and then a button that you depress and it should slide off.

The part number looks correct. Most online sites and dealers will ask for your VIN to make sure it's correct.

#1 points to the nipple for that quick connect on the thermostat housing:

Unfortunately they are claiming ignorance and saying it was broken when I took it in (It wasn't as I had been driving it consistently for work prior to the recall issues) They are refusing to fix their mistake and instead want to charge me 400 dollars to fix it.
