During this cold my dart died, I just put a new battery in about a month ago. Now when I try to start it, it just clicks and my gauges go crazy. I don’t know what it is. Is it possible it’s my starter fuse?
A fuse that fails breaks the circuit. You would get nothing. Clicking means not enough current to turn the starter. You either have a bad battery again, it is possible. You might have a parasitic loss that drains your battery. Do you have a multimeter? If not, you are just guessing.
Hey I would also try just undoing your negative terminal an cleaning off any buildup or gunk on your battery. I have had issues where if I just wiggle around that negative terminal, clean it off some, and make sure its on tight it starts right up. Let me know if thats any help
Just had this problem. Installed a new starter and no change. It was the corrosion where the starter contacts the block. Try running a jumper wire from the negative of the battery to one of the mounting bolts of the starter.
