So it doesnt matter what temp or what kind of weather, moving or stationary, i have a clicking noise when turning my wheel in either direction. Only happens when i turn the wheel, if i keep it steady on a turn or bend it's fine, until i move it again. Now at higher speeds the wheel doesnt turn as much and the car is louder so i cant hear it even if it was happening. Sometimes when i move the wheel completely to one side, then to the other, it goes away... For a few moments that is. Because seconds later the glorious sound of clicking is back. Dealer said it was just some dirt that could get washed out. Well after a couple car washes and a couple by myself, with plent of time carefully removing any dirt or other stuff that shouldn't be down there, it's still happening. If anyone could help or link me to a proper post that would be wonderful!

No it doesnt happen when i accelerate. Just when the steering wheel turns. If i hold on a steady turn while accelerating it wont do anything, but when i move the steering wheel to either side i can hear it. Not sure what to really think. It to me is coming from the front right side. But for all i know it could be just coming from the front in general. Where i bought the car, all that i was told is it needed cleaned, which i did very well and very carefully. If i can i will get a video on yourube and give a link.
And i just thought of this now aswell, when going down a flat road with no dips or bumps, the car will always pull to the right side. Not to much that it's concerning (considering i live in PA where the roads are all horrible) but enough for me to have to keep a hand on the wheel to go straight.

Does it happen if you turn the wheels while stopped? Is the sound outside or inside of the car? Is the sound metallic or plastic in sound?

If the car pulls, you need an alignment at the very least.

I don't know how it is in PA but in Indiana most of the roads are crowned (higher in the middle than at the edges) for drainage. If the roads are crowned in PA, that might account for drifting to the right. If they are flat in PA, I agree with the alignment recommendation.

As for the clicking, I do not have an answer.

Some back roads and really older roads are like that. And it happens when i dont move or when i do move slowly, and it seems to be happening outside of the car. As for the type of sound, i would have to say metallic. I have a vid up on youtube now i can link too.

My money is on this being a bad strut mount/bearing plate. Have a listen up top under the hood where the strut is bolted in place.

This is not my video but have a look at this:

Any idea on cost? Car as less than 35k on it and bought in feb- march, think it would be covered?

If you're under 3 year/36k miles then you should be covered when you take it into the dealership.

Bring it to the dealer, doesn't matter if you picked it up used, it should still be covered if your at 35K. Also, most used car places are required to provide a 60 day warranty if the car is new enough. I would start with the dealer though personally.

It honestly depends on when the car was originally bought. If it was before July 29th, 2013, then the warranty would be up. It's up to 36k or 3 years. While my old 13 was bought in November, that would be be covered. But that might not be the case for all.

I would get your VIN in your window, call your local dealership and ask them for a report on when the car was initially sold and put into service. Saves you a trip incase it's over the 3 years already.

I'll have to do that, i called and no ones in the shop rn (of course the left 10 mins before i called, my luck..) but they told me to bring it in tomarrow to have him take another look because i said it's getting worse. Which it is, more frequent and louder. Pretty soon i may be going down the highway and bam... Shit hits the fan.
