Hey guys, I had a Dart a few years ago, and made a custom Cold Air Intake for it that was nothing fancy, but in doing so made the blowoff valve sound as loud as a WRX.

Is there a cheaper option to get the same sound effect? I never really got much in terms of power gains from a CAI, so I don't want to spend the money on that again, but I miss the sound. Would one of the K&N drop in filters help? I know it made the engine in my Suburban sound much louder and better.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I know you can buy one, but the one on the car sounds good. You just can't hear it. When you put a CAI on you can hear it wonderfully. Just curious if there's anything else I can try

Spectre cone filter and short piece of exhaust pipe from Amazon.

Expect a slight loss in power from losing the ram air on the stock intake, but the sound will be very loud.

Or you could just buy my used DRP convertible CAI/Ram air intake. ;)
