Wow. Was just looking up the other recall and saw this one too. Never got a notice about it though. Guess I should call the dealer and have them both checked out. :( blah calling the dealer

Bought my Dart limited late Oct and after a month and 3500miles... I was waiting at a red light with my window down and started smelling a burning smell. At first thought, it must be the car next to me so I looked over and the guy next to me started pointing at my front driver side tire. UH OH, that's when I saw smoke coming out from under the left side. The light turned green, I stepped on the accelerator to pull to the gas station after the intersection and engine just REVs but car doesn't move. I look at my console cluster and light indicator that shows I'm in D(drive) was blinking instead of staying solid like it usually does. OVERHEAT??? I scrolled through my console menu and pull up my engine status. No, engine oil and coolant readings are normal. I shifted quickly to park then back to Drive, stepped on the accelerator. REVS but doesn't move. By this time, cars behind me were starting to honk. I shifted back into Park and turned off the engine then started again, Shifted to drive and car accelerates. Good thing I wasn't far from the dealership that I bought my Dart from...called SERVICE and told them I'm coming in. The short drive to the dealership, car accelerates fine, no glitches, smoke scent resided. Everything seem fine again aside from a faint scent of smoke coming from my ac vents. Described my problem to the service rep over bluetooth and reps says, "NO Problem, Just bring it in, you don't need an appointment and we'll put u in a rental." Determined it was the clutch and parts are ordered to arrive overnight. Says, "it'll probably be ready at the end of day tomorrow but go ahead and come in anytime WED. We've taken care of the rental charges." Nice!
Just had this happen in my fiances dart....Ughhhh

Hello guys my dart's build date is august 28,2012. I got a call for a recall but its not m37. Instead its for n32 power control module reprogramming. I did ask about the m37 and the rep said that based on my vin the recall is just for n32. Hope he's right.

Hi..
i think my dart has this problem, how can i validate i recall aplly to my car ?? VIN NUMBER IS 1C3CDFCH2DD285275

Thank you
@bguanajuato -

The OP of this (November 2012) thread hasn't logged onto the forum since July 4, 2013 ... so it's very doubtful he will look up your VIN to see if this recall applies to your 2013 Dodge Dart Limited (with 1.4L MultiAir Turbo & 6sp DDCT).

That stated, if you are the original owner of your Dart, then Dodge would have sent you a recall notice.

If you bought it "USED", then look at the sticker affixed to your driver's side door to determine if your Dart was built between August 23, 2012 and October 18, 2012:

Vehicle Car Toyota

NOTE: "DATE OF MFR (BUILT):" is the Month Year it was built
... and "MDH:" is the Month Day Hour it was built
