I just got a Dart with 71k miles about two weeks ago. After driving it around and getting used to it, I have noticed there is a faint grinding noise while I'm shifting between gears, it happens somewhat randomly and especially when its's hot. I think it is an issue with the synchro's but I am not certain. Does anyone know if this is a common issue with manuals or if it could be something else?

You probably have worn motor mounts.
