I recently was checking hoses and my Coolant Bottle Inlet Hose snapped right at the quick disconnect the part that connects to to the thermostat housing. Has anyone had this issue before? I search the threads but not seeing much on it. Not sure if this is common. I just ordered a replacement hose (55111494AD) but wanted to get thoughts on if I need to bleed the cooling system after replacing this hose. Thanks in advance!

You will need to drain some coolant to replace that hose. A tool like the UView Airlift allows refilling without trapping air. There are you tube videos.

Thanks, is there another way around it without having to buy that tool? Is this hose issue common?

Any coolant hose can leak. The FSM recommends that tool but others have done it without the tool. Just make sure not to go on any longer trips until you are sure the air is purged. Air tends to get trapped in the head during the filling process.
