Hey guys so i bought a dart a awhile ago and just couple months ago i hit a animal and now ive been getting a code and ive looked at some of the shutters are gone so i removed them bc the were stuck and so i cleared the code and probaly got about 20 plus miles in then it came back on now ive noticed while under the car that the motor just goes in one direction till it pops and then doesnt do anything should i get a new motor or what local dealership wants to charge me 150 to run a diagnostic check and dont really qant to do that

Hey Matt, last summer I had my check engine light come on, I checked the code and I got the same as you (p1d73), I looked at my grill shutters and some of them looked to be broken even though I haven’t hit anything? (Maybe because I bought it used) It took me like 3 tries to reset the code and now I haven’t had a problem since. I’d recommend trying to reset the code again or worst comes to worst replacing whatever pieces are broken.
