Help With Headlights That Have Clouded on The Inside.

I have a 2013 Dodge Dart. I replaced the stock headlights with LED lights and have noticed that the inside of the housing seems to be clouded now. I had to drill a 1/2" hole in the access cover to the headlights for the cord off the new headlights to go through and am wondering if that might have something to do with it. Anyone have any ideas or suggestion on how to clean the inside?

      Thanks!

take the caps off, put in a couple silica packs in the back of the headlight and park the car in the sun for the day. Alternatively you can use a heat gun on low heat but the sun is the safer option

At this time having open the assembly open with them holes you are now opening your headlamps up to a world of other and worse problems. In most cases headlights are set in the assembly in away which prevents moisture and other foreign matters from entering into the bulb housing. I would replace the assembly. In many cases there is something going wrong with the assembly if there is "clouding" inside the assembly. You should have started with maybe a headlight restoration service or even a home kit which would have addressed the issue and if there was an integrity issue with the housing which caused the "clouding" to be internal you would need to replace the assembly.

Did you totally seal the hole you drilled in the cover? If it isn't, then that is the cause of your problems. you'll have to dry it out like Josh said and then seal it.
