      2013 6 speed shift cable

Hey guys, thanks in advance for any help I tried searching shift cable but haven't found anything besides to check the top of the transmission, which I'm trying to check but it looks like my shift cable is still attached, but I can't see the second one. I'm thinking my problem is there, unless you guys have a better suggestion.

The problem I'm having is that it is stuck in first gear. When driving home in traffic the shifter suddenly felt loose, then shortly after when stuck in traffic I got stuck in 1st gear. The shifter moves freely now, but only up to a certain point (could move to what should be neutral but not 6th). I pulled the boot up from the shift and the cables are both moving when i move the shifter around. Is there any guide or instructions on getting this all visible and taken off? I was hoping not to remove everything above for this.

The problem is almost always the cable bushing. There was a recent thread about this. Even though it may be a different trans, all the shifter cables have the same type bushing.

Thanks again, do you know if the bushing itself is the same too? I don't want to spend 200 and wait for an entire cable assembly if the same bushing would work that the store has for 20 bucks. It claims the bushing fits 2.0 auto but not manual.

I think I read that others have used the bushing fix for both kinds of cables. Hopefully others will chime in.

So that was the part. For anyone reading this in the future the manual transmission bushing is a different size, its quite a bit larger than the ones reported to fit the automatic transmission.

With that being said i went to o'Reilly with the smaller one in hand and found a bushing that fits perfect. I believe its actually for some vehicles pcv however it snaps into place on both the transmission lever and the shift cable. Total cost 3.49, unfortunately i threw the box away on my way out and i don't have a part number sorry.
