      I also have a 14 GT manual which I purchased new August of 2014. I put 40k miles on it in a year and handed it to my teenager who now drives it. But yes I agree with you on performance being that I now drive a 2017 Ford Focus ST which is at that more satisfactory level of performance. It's not the RS that I wanted, but it was $10-$15k less. But for a teenager the Dart GT is a safer car than the Focus ST. They are less likely to get into trouble with the Dart. Insurance rates prove it also.

      I would hope that the ST has "satisfactory" power..... why else would you buy one? Seems like the whole Hot Hatch thing was a hundred years ago already.... the way media either breathes life or kills off things.
