For those of you who have the uConnect Nav option (w/ or w/o TFT), do you find that using the on-board nav is much more useful/intuitive/safe than just using the turn-by-turn on your iphone/android phone? I defiinitely want uConnect + TFT, but was wondering if Nav was a must-have feature. Thanks!

I find the built in NAV on the Dart to be great. In my opinion, if you have the chance to get the NAV in your Dart, then get it. Its money well spent. The Garmin system works very well, has an 8.4" display vs a 4 or 5" display on your phone, is incredibly easy to use and very efficient. As far as accuracy, its pretty accurate with both directions and time to destination. To me, its far better than futzing around with a phone that has a small screen. Plus, since the screen is so much larger its very easy to use. So in my opinion, its the built-in Garmin NAV all the way.
I've recently been having a pseudo-issue with mine. She'll say Right and the directions will show Left. lol
Aside from that, I would much rather have the voice from my Nexus7 Google-Maps/Nav do the directing. Her pronunciation skills need work. LOL
Also, I find that the spacing in the TFT for directions needs to be fixed. It splits single words up where the entire word should be on the next line. Especially where the names of streets are concerned.
