      150,000 miles

      Today was the day. I hit 150,000 miles on my way home from work this morning. Have had Injen CAI, MPx intercooler pipes, and custom exhaust pretty much since around 10,000 miles. No major issues so far. Still a great daily driver.

      On every car I've ever owned, 150,000 miles was the point where s#!t finally started falling apart on it.

      @m88s22 -

      Congrats on the 150K milestone!

      IIRC, you took delivery of your '13 Dart 1.4T LIMITED about a month after me ... but it's obviously you have a longer commute since my Dart's odometer currently reads just a tad over 124K miles ... so I doubt I'll ever "catch up" to you!

      I'm going to assume many many highway miles. In the long run, there's no substitute for uninterrupted longer highway miles. Especially for drivetrains. With a short commute and typical grocery shopping/city driving, you may as well cut all expectations in half.
      I try to give the Phoenix a 50 mile highway stretch out at least once to three times a month, medium to high rpms and such. As important as an oil change imho.

      The fact that the digital dash display is still working,that was always a concern for me with this car.Evidence enough here to ignore the extended warranty offers that FCA keeps touting.I will take my chances with the higher technology and its potential problems,and say to heck with FCA and your current marketing plan.

      ...I guess it might be considered a roll of the dice: pay a little extra (monthly in my case) just in case things go wrong. I for one, would't want to pay big bucks for some of the potentially very expensive repairs. But your example does make a good case for not paying extra.....

      Not yet. I've got a project I am about to do on my NSRT-4. Need to take the transmission and pull the gear set. Forks and clutch for sure need to be replaced. After I get that back together, I'll venture into doing the timing belt on this. I talked to my local dealer since I do not have the manual, nor the time right this moment, and they quoted me $2770 to do it, so that is why I will venture into it after I get my NSRT-4 back together. And speaking of the NSRT-4, I had great success on the stock timing belt. Made it 160,000 miles before I replaced it, and once I finished I thought, that was a waste. Guess my drive and climate here don't damage the belt badly.

      My drive is just around 62 miles each way, and about 70% highway.
