I really like to read that this kind of enthusiasm still exists for the Dart.Living less than a hour away from the Belvidere,Ill. assembly plant, the car is not seen often around here. But I have noticed a few more the past year or so,but it is disappointing that after the huge initial launch the car has met such a lackluster reception from the auto press and buyers in general.
I really like my Dart, enough to where I am planning on keeping it.Get rid of the crummy OEM tires and consider the extended warranty.I might have a collectors item before it is all over.

I just posted for thoughts on the extended warranty as well. Should I or shouldn't I?
I still luv my Dart -- and I'm rather particular about vehicles -- but IMHO they got it right with this one.
-- It looks good.
-- It's reasonably peppy.
-- It gets awesome gas mileage.
-- It's got cool features, such as the touch screen, etc.

Get rid of the crummy OEM tires. I hope that Michelin makes a 17" tire that works well on that car. I have had good luck with there Defender model on my Chevy Cruze, so far.
I have a deep and abiding love enjoyment in driving my Dart. I've said this a number of times I know, however, I have had a lot of cars, faster, stronger, bigger, smaller.....all kinds. I have never driven a car as much fun to drive, as satisfying as my Dart. Heaven forbid anything happens to it, but if it does, I'll get another one....I love it! Simple.
FCA made 15 like mine, I made mine a singularity!
If nothing changes, nothing changes!
Life is too short to drive a boring car!
We just went on our 2nd Roadtrip with my Dart a few weeks ago, this time from Minnesota to Florida and back and car did great. I actually saw many Darts on the trip which was nice to see.
Despite what the "experts" seem to think we still love our Dart. Still the road trip ride of choice, room enough for airport pickup's comfy enough with heated seats and wheel for cold weather around town. Any problem we had was taken care of by the dealer. She still has a look that makes me smile, what is not to love about that.
